Scentific interests

My scientific interests lie primarily in the area of dispersed systems and are focused on surfactant self-organization as well as structural design, engineering and physicochemistry of colloidal dispersions, i.e. nanoemulsions, microemulsions, multiple emulsions, specialty liposomes and lyotropic liquid crystalline nanoparticles, such as cubosomes and hexosomes. The studied nanostructured formulations are intended mainly for anticancer treatment and diagnostics (theranostic applications) with affinity of targeting and long circulating in blood stream.
