Scentific interests

The main area of scientific interest is organic chemistry with particular emphasis on the synthesis of new organophosphorus compounds, having defined biological activity and/or interesting physical and chemical properties, as well as catalysis, in particular olefin metathesis and processes involving catalysts obtained from biomass derived from the phytoremediation of metal contaminated areas.
